Admire the colors of Autumn in Łazienki Park

Squirrel Lazienki Park Warsaw

You might miss the free Chopin concert, but Łazienki Park in Autumn is an explosion of colors.

The once green trees are now a dazzling mix of ambers, reds, and yellows. The cheerful tweets of birds surrender to the quiet whisper of dry leaves. This is THE period of the year to get your camera out and take awesome pictures! Make sure to visit at the edge of the day, at sunset or sunrise, to get the best out of your pictures.

Visit a royal residence for FREE!

In November all the former royal residences have free admission and special programs in place. This means that major landmarks like the Royal Castle, the Museum of King Jan III’s Palace at Wilanów, and all the buildings in the Royal Łazienki Museum are free to visit!

Get to know more about Polish Cinema with PFFF (from October)

kino wisla warsaw

Polish films for foreigners (PFFF) comes back after a summer break. The meetings with PFFF are super interesting because they usually end with a conversation (in Eng) with either some of the actors or the director of the film. Find out more about Polish Film For Foreigners.

Strengthen your Body and Mind @ 3d Archery

In summer we suggested you try kayaking on the Vistula river. That’s not something I’d be willing to do with these temperatures. Instead, you could practice your archery skills and participate at the archery competitions organized by 3d Archery Warsaw.

Freshen up your wardrobe at a garage sale

This megatrend has taken Warsaw by storm in Summer and continues in Autumn. Find out the next events here.

Eat lunch at the newly opened Hala Gwardii (from the end of September)

Hala Gwardii, which was once a boxing arena, is going to be transformed into a food hall with dozens of restaurants. It’s going to be located next to the historical Hala Mirowska. Are the two “Hala” going to live harmoniously next to each other?

At the Grand opening, you can expect to find a market full of regional products, numerous restaurants, and several cultural events organized for the occasion.

  1. Those are really amazing ideas. I definitely need to talk my girlfriend into trying archery, it sounds amazing! I love autumn in Warsaw, especially when the weather is so nice and the city looks magical in all those amazing colors. I live in Mokotow, where there are so many stunning parks 🙂 I really enjoy walking around and admiring them.:D
