A few facts about Trump’s visit to Warsaw

Organizing such event is a very complicated task. Below we provide only a general overview of the changes in traffic. For detailed info, go here.

1) closed to pedestrians:

  • Castle Square (Pl. Zamkowy) on 6.07

2) changes in public communication:

  • buses 116, 178, 180, 503, 518, N44 will go on a slightly different route (Senatorska – pl. Bankowy – Andersa)
  • bus stop DW. CENTRALNY 01 (Central Station 01) will be closed. There will be a temporal bus stop DW. CENTRALNY 51, located 100 meters after the crossing with Emilii Plater Street.

3) changes in traffic:

  • avoid driving in the Old Town, many streets are closed to traffic.
  • avoid parking in the whole city center. If you absolutely have to park, make double sure there is no ‘No stopping’ sign anywhere around since you risk your car being towed away.
  • the way to the airport (streets Żwirki i Wigury, Raszyńska, Al. Jerozolimskie) won’t be closed to traffic, but there might be heavy congestions when the President will be passing (check the schedule below). If you have a flight to catch on those days, make sure to devote a tremendous amount of time to get to the airport!
