Warsaw is starting to organize anew its cultural and entertainment scene, so we recommend events in both the real and virtual world. If you decide to leave the house, remember to obey the rules of social distancing and put on masks where the regulations require it. Last but definitely not least, have fun and enjoy the blooming summer.

1) Concert on a balcony for the 100th anniversary of the Battle of Warsaw

The victory against the Bolsheviks in 1920 is probably the greatest Polish military success in the last 600 years. Join celebrations by going for a walk from pl. Na Rozdrożu, where the battle’s monument will be erected, to the balcony of the Bristol Hotel. It is where Warszawska Orkiestra Sentymentalna will play first and then, among others, Artur Gadowski or Maciej Miecznikowski. Online broadcast remains an option for all absentees.

The third edition of the event that quickly earned a lot of interest. Ania and Karina prepare delicious breakfasts – mainly vege, but the biggest hit is the meringue (best we had in years). Their goal, however, is not only to feed the participants but also to tell about the history of the meeting places, introduce the people who currently manage them and create a community of Warsaw-heads. The event is available in English as well. A must-see for outdoor weekend breakfast enthusiasts.

For those who find getting up so early a tad difficult, there is also an option of the “City Never Sleeps” evening workshop.
