WARSAWESOME: YOUR WARSAW WEEKEND GUIDE
JULY 24 – 26
Receive this Warsaw weekend guide in your mailbox. Every Thursday.
Warsaw is starting to organize anew its cultural and entertainment scene, so we recommend events in both the real and virtual world. If you decide to leave the house, remember to obey the rules of social distancing and put on masks where the regulations require it. Last but definitely not least, have fun and enjoy the blooming summer.
1) Long live the Girls! – market, workshops, discussion panels and a screening at Elektrownia Powiśle
Books, fashion, home accessories, cosmetics and healthy food market. Body/breath/voice workshops, creating totems, lecture on adaptogens. Discussion panels about female orgasm and the body-positive trend in art. That’s what Elektrownia Powiśle has in stock on Saturday.
When: Saturday, July 25, from 11:00 to 19:00
Where: Elektrownia Powiśle – ul. Dobra 42
2) Foodtrucks take over Narodowy
The largest foodtrucks festival in Warsaw is here at last. Do we need to say more? Warsaw summer has hundreds of flavors and it is best to experience them outdoors. Not only does it taste better, but it is also easier to maintain the principles of social distancing. Therefore, go to the Stadion Narodowy to find your weekend delicacies.
When: Saturday and Sunday, July 25 and 26, from 12:00 to 20:00
Where: Stadion Narodowy
3) Learn to improvise at the Improvisation Festival
Improvisation is a very useful skill both in private and professional life. Develops a creative approach to problem-solving, allows you to find yourself better in new situations, makes the mind and body cooperate seamlessly. These are activities for the body, mind, and spirit. Workshops are paid and registration is required. It can be even more challenging and thus more stimulating if you don’t speak any Polish because you will have to improvise all along. Don’t get discouraged!

4) Secret party in the forest – Buszowisko vol. 3
How about trying a new way to party this weekend? Buszowisko is a rave party that takes place in the forest. Where exactly? You will receive this information only after emailing the organizers. It sounds enigmatic, but it can be an interesting change from the classic clubbing and drinking on Bulwary.
Alternatively, you can always go to Balkan Potupajka in Babie Lato ( FB ) on Friday.
When: Saturday, July 25, from 18:00
Where: it’s a secret
5) Dog Market in Lunapark
If you are looking for a weekend attraction to attend with your beloved four-legged friend, we have something just right – the Dog Market at Lunapark. You can get gems from the toys, feed, and leashes categories that are not available in stores.

Rejs returns in a new location, a bit further from the city center, a bit further from the Vistula River, as far as Elsnerów. However, do not let this discourage you, because they managed to find enough space for a wake park, a field for archer battles, a climbing wall, a beach court, a football field, a badminton court and a beach with umbrellas and sun loungers by Zalew Bardowskiego. Saturday’s opening will feature concerts by INA WEST and Coals.

Where: Rejs – ul. Bardowskiego 2a

On July 22, we celebrated the Day of the Old Town, i.e. the 67th anniversary of the commissioning of the first tenement houses rebuilt there. On this occasion, the Museum of Warsaw has prepared two walks with guides. Let’s celebrate our Old Town by at least going for ice cream there. We appreciate it too rarely, while it is the only site on the UNESCO World Heritage List, not only in the capital but also in the entire Mazovian province.
