Spend a relaxing lazy afternoon with Alpacas Natan, Kazik, Milor, Minos, Chmurka, Filip, Puree, and Promyczek. These four-legged hugging specialists can soothe sorrows and calm your nerves.
There will also be a grill available, so bring some meat and veggies! Coffee, tea and water are on the organizers.

2) Smile Warsaw (and afterward, to the river!)
Join the volunteers from Warsaw SEWA. You will serve a hot, tasty, vegetarian Indian meal to the poor and homeless people of Warsaw. And after serving the meals, join the generous group of expats for a relaxing afternoon at the river.

3) Warsaw Art Picnic
An Artistic Picnic to celebrate the opening of a new ŁAP (Ładne Artykuły Papiernicze). The idea of ŁAP is to sell notebooks designed by young artists and to promote their art.
Besides being able to buy the notebooks, there will be loads of other attractions like painting, doing your own sculpture and life music (including a jazz concert).

4) Wola Open Basketball Tournament
Join one of the three categories of this basketball tournament: MEN, WOMEN and JUNIOR (Under 23). The prizes in the tournament will be PLN 2,000 for the winner of the MEN category and gift vouchers for Sklep Koszykarza and Kicks Store for the three best teams from each category.
Entry fee (PLN 50 per team) is allocated to a charity goal.

5) Flourishing: Synergy in the shrubs for the Forest
Art, music, walks, workshops, and talks.
Explore two exceptional urban gardens: The Botanic Garden, Warsaw University’s educational institution, and the Osiedle Jazdów, a restful and full of greenery settlement of Finnish houses.
The event will support Obóz dla Puszczy, which is still facing enormous costs due to legal expenses connected with blocking illegal logging in Białowieża Forest.
On this day the entrance fee to the Botanic Garden will cost 6PLN for everybody (usual reduced-fare), we kindly ask you to chip in the extra amount, look out for marked cans! (suggested 12PLN+). You can also sign the petition and contribute here.

6) Eco Workshops for Children at Cud Nad Wisła
Creative recycling workshops for children during which your kids will give a second life to what would have otherwise become trash.

7) Kiasmos DJ-Set at Iskra Pole Mokotowskie
KIASMOS was started in 2009 by Icelandic BAFTA-winning composer ÓLAFUR ARNALDS, known for his unique blend of minimal piano and string compositions with electronic sounds, and JANUS RASMUSSEN from the Faroe Islands, known
as the mastermind of the electro-pop outfit Bloodgroup. Based in Reykjavík, Arnalds used to work as a sound engineer, often for Rasmussen’s other projects, where the two musicians discovered their common love for minimal, experimental music.

8) The 74th anniversary of the Warsaw Uprising
For the 74th anniversary of the Warsaw Uprising, you can experience a week of performances and activities. Some examples are the performance directed by Natalia Korczakowska, a concert by Młynarski-Masecki Jazz Camerata Varsoviensis, a photographic urban game, a bike ride, and Uprising songs.

9) Opening of the Frank pastry shop
Delicious homemade cakes, American giant cakes according to our original recipes, natural ice cream, and delicious coffee from COFFEE Lab. On the opening day there is a special 30% discount on the entire menu.

10) Eclipse of the Moon from the Copernicus Science Center
This year the lunar eclipse will be exceptionally spectacular. The phenomenon will coincide with the moment when the Moon will be farthest from the Earth (apogee). Because of this, the whole eclipse will last over an hour and forty minutes.
