1) The museum night: our suggestions
All the museums plus countless exhibitions. For free. Sounds good, but where will you go?
The most popular museums will likely be overcrowded. So be prepared to long lines or opt for less popular museums.
These are a couple of ideas:
Museum Night at the Neon Museum. This one is going to be different from other options throughout the city as there will be a DJ set (Kill Collins + Double Trouble) and food trucks.
Museum Night, at the historic Water Treatment Plant “Filtry”. The Water Treatment Plant is usually closed to the public, this is a great occasion to get in and snap some breathtaking pictures. If you manage to get in, you won’t regret the time you spent lining up.

2) Warsaw Animal Day 2018
This event will mainly be about animals in general, mut most of the attractions and activities will be about dogs. You’ll also have the opportunity to adopt one of the over 100 dogs or get a cat, rabbit or ferret.

When: Saturday 19 from 12:00 to 18:00
An alternative to this event could be the largest aquarium exhibition in Warsaw, which will show the diversity of aquatic animals and their habitats from different parts of the world. The exhibition will also be supplemented with a nature photography exhibition. Link to the event.
3) March for the Liberation of Cannabis
A manifestation in favour cannabis legalization.
You can also expect music, a cannabis picnic, cannabis fair and an after party.

When: Saturday 19 from 10:00 to 22:00
This is a party regularly taking place at Klub SPATiF. It is organized by one of our fellow Expats in Warsaw and it will be a good occasion to have fun with like-minded people, both international and Polish.
The music will be mainly Brit-pop and Brit-rock, as well as Indie, New-Wave, Electro Pop, Punk and Ska from the 80s, 90s, and 00s.

5) InterContinental Tower Run
How about running up the stairs of the five-star InterContinental hotel? It’s just a 1000 steps, easy! :O The run starts at level -5 and finishes at the 44th floor.
The collected funds will be used for the purchase of a rehabilitation bike for a 6-year-old Ola and 20% of the funds, we will be handed over to the IHG Foundation.

6) Vegan Run
A run that promotes a healthy lifestyle, in harmony with our body and in harmony with nature. You can run 5 km, 10 km or 21 km.
When: Sunday 20 from 08:30 to 18:00
Where: Starting point near the Olympic Center in Żoliborz

7) Food Trucks at the Palace of Culture during the Museum Night
During the Żarcie Na Kółkach food truck fair, you’ll find nearly 100 food trucks from all over the world.

8) Warsaw Book Fair 2018
At the Warsaw book fair, you’ll find new books and bestsellers, from both Polish and international exhibitors (nearly 800 in total). In case you want your book personalized, there will also be 1000 authors that you can stalk for an autograph!

9) Exhibition of Carnivorous Plants in the Botanical Garden of the University of Warsaw
An interesting carnivorous plant exhibition and fair at the Botanical Garden of the University of Warsaw.

10) Drifting Championship 2018
Some of the best European drifters will bring a great show that guarantees adrenaline and fun. A few lucky ones of us will get to go on a “Drift Taxi” (a ride as a passenger with a drifting master). I wasn’t able to figure out how the selection works though.
