1) OFF CINEMA 2020 International Documentary Film Festival
The festival grants access to 30 competition films divided into 12 blocks. 24-hour access to one block, i.e. two or three films, costs 10PLN.
When: until Sunday, October 18
2) Digital Cultures 2020:Imagined Futures
Discussion panels, presentations, Q&A sessions, interactive workshops with experts, online film screenings on the NINATEKA platform, interviews with creators and a contemplative audio program. All of this will be available to us as part of the Digital Cultures 2020: Imagined Futures festival. The main topic will be old visions of the future and the direction of the world goes after the pandemic.
When: from Saturday, October 17, to Sunday, October 25
3) PKO Poznań Virtual Run
This time in the sports section we recommend a bit of running. The modern format of the race allows you to participate anywhere in the world. After registration, download a special application that will measure the official running time. There are four distances to choose from – from 5km, which even occasional runners can cope with, to the 42,195km of a marathon.
When: Saturday and Sunday, October 17 and 18
4) Visit the virtual Warsaw Rising Museum
The Warsaw Rising Museum swiftly digitizes and makes its resources available online. They also organize online walks, lectures, and workshops for children and adults. We hope that other Warsaw museums will soon follow their example.
5) Bookstore Night 2020
Bookstore Night is about meetings with writers and translators, poetry workshops, book premieres, and concerts. There will also be events dedicated to children. Our attention is especially drawn to the author’s meeting with Katarzyna Nosowska (FB).
