1) Season Finale at Nocny Market
The outdoor eating season is over. After the National Stadium, food trucks and street food will also disappear from the Main Railway Station. To say goodbye to Nocny Market, we recommend trying something new. Our choice is grilled bull testicles served with black beans.

2) 6th Night of Libraries
This event aims to promote a book renting culture. To achieve this goal, several Warsaw libraries have prepared markets, meetings with authors, and workshops for children and adults. Take a look at the map and check out what’s going on in your neighborhood. Warsaw libraries do have a nice selection of books in English.

3) VIII Royal Festival of Light
This is just a preview of what awaits us during the Illumination of Warsaw. This weekend, only the palace and garden in Wilanów will light up. We will also be able to watch a LIGHT-SOUND show on the facade of the District Office. Then, love doves can take a photo of themselves in the Ice Hearts Zone. Some food trucks will be there as well.

4) Autumn at Koneser
Koneser has prepared a rich and interesting offer for the fall. On Fridays, there will be sensory performances that stimulate the body and brain with the sounds of oriental instruments and light. On Saturdays – ceramics and chess intergenerational workshops.

5) Korean Fall
The Korean culture festival will last a full month this year. Accompanying events will be available both online and in the real world. At the weekend, visit Podchorążówkal in Łazienki and see the exhibition “At the Source. Inspirations from Korean Art and Culture”.

6) Eco, Slow and Handmade Markets
If you want to buy unique works of Polish craftsmen, this weekend you have two events to attend.
ETNOwa Festival 2020 – recreating the atmosphere of legendary Warsaw’s interwar marketplaces
When: Friday, October 9, to Sunday, October 11, 13:00 to 20:00

Niech Żyje Rzemiosło w Elektrowni Powiśle, that is workshops, lectures and fairs.

7) Nordic Walk around Mokotów
In the sports section this week, we recommend Nordic walking practice sessions. There are many places perfect for this sport in Warsaw. However, it is worth learning the technique to use the full potential of walking with poles. Classes are held every week. Prior registration is required.

8) Vege Festival at the Palace of Culture
This festival promotes domestic producers of vegan delicacies, cosmetics, fashion, and accessories. Let’s see what’s what in a vege fall.

9) BEST OFF Polish Off-movies
As part of BEST OFF, we will watch award winners from Polish auteur film festivals. It is also us – the viewers – who will choose the sole winner of this year’s edition.

10) Archaeological Festival in Mrozy
We rarely recommend events outside of Warsaw, but now it’s worth it. You can conveniently get to Mrozy by Koleje Mazowieckie or by car. On the spot, you will hear about the traditions and beliefs of the ancient Slavs, learn how to spin wool, buy linen products or herbs, and sit down to an ancient feast.
