Warsaw is starting to organize anew its cultural and entertainment scene, so we recommend events in both the real and virtual world. If you decide to leave the house, remember to obey the rules of social distancing and put on masks where the regulations require it. Last but definitely not least, have fun and enjoy the blooming summer.

1) 5th Warsaw Independent Bookfair 

This fair, organized by independent publishing houses and collectives, both from Poland and abroad, enables you to get hard-to-obtain publications. You will also be able to take part in discussions, lectures, workshops, and concerts (most of them online) dedicated mainly to social activism.

When: Saturday, September 5, to Sunday, September 6

2) CBD Market at Boogaloo Beach Bar

An event for all those who have already started their adventure with CBD and those who seek initiation. You will be able to stack up on flowers, oils, creams, gels, snacks with this legal active substance of medical marijuana and hemp.

3) Freakmarket vol. 7

The seventh edition of the independent fair, where you will find hand-sewn woolen hats, ceramics, cosmetics, honey from free bees, jewelry and meditation pillows.

4) Praga Plant Market

Those passionately decorating their homes with plants for a long time, and those who are just planning it, will find something for themselves in Praga Centrum. Specialists in ecology and zero waste, who will tell how to protect the environment in a simple way will show up among the exhibitors. It will also be possible to exchange plants during the so-called Wymiennik.

5) The Last Weekender in Lunapark

We recommended events at Lunapark practically every week throughout the summer. Therefore, for the first weekend of September, we recommend the last of the Weekend series, i.e. four days of music, street food and entertainment along the green East bank of Vistula.

6) Boxing Day in Żoliborz!

This time in the weekend sports section we are zeroing in on boxing. This Sunday lends an opportunity to celebrate the 6th birthday of Żoliborska Szkoła Boksu. There will be, among others, free training sessions, a zone for children, a clothes zone from Bokserski Fason, food from TĘCZA OD KUCHNI, an exhibition from the Olympic Center and live music.

7) Warsaw Beer Festival Without Borders

One of the capital’s favorite festivals returns in a different form. The organizers have created a tasting kit that you can have delivered to your home and test while watching online beer workshops. You can also go to the partner pubs and bars, taste the festival drinks there and watch broadcasts from the workshops. And if you still want more, check out our beer walk around Warsaw .

8) Horse Racing on Tor Służewiec

The beginning of September is a great time to turn your attention back to horse racing. The battle for the highest stakes, i.e. for the victory in Wielka Warszawska, is still ahead of us (October 11), but why not earn some experience beforehand? This Saturday, the fastest trotters will compete for the Warsaw Marathon award. Remember to wear some elegant headgear for the races (but keep the best for next year’s Derby).

9) Opening of Baron the Family Grill Bar

Aleksander Baron is one of the hottest names on the capital’s gastro scene, so do not miss the opportunity to try his cold soup made of smoked baked tomatoes, a hot dog with aromatic black garlic sausage and seasoned koji-rubbed roast beef. Polish vodkas, craft beers and Polish wine to drink.

10) Silent Disco in Bez Słowa

There is no Warsawesome without a mention of some silent disco. Finally, we can recommend an event in Bez Słowa – undoubtedly one of the most interesting places in southern Mokotów. On weekdays try their great pizza, and, most definitely, attend some jam sessions and piano Wednesdays.

11) Warsaw Cocktail Workshop

Check what Polish vodkas and liqueurs can do if you turn them into cool cocktails! Under the watchful eye of the top bartenders in the city, you will unveil the secrets of drinks from the best Warsaw bars.
