WarsAWesome: Your Warsaw Weekend Guide (August 12-15)
What’s the best spot to watch the falling stars in Warsaw (this weekend is the peak of the Perseids meteor shower)? Where can you watch Game of Thrones in public? Find out the answers to these questions and more in the post below 🙂
There is also going to be a workshop about lollipop making (your kids will love this one!).
Taste of India – Food and Cultural Festival
On the 15th of August, India will celebrate its 70th Independence day.
For the occasion, India International Foundation is organizing a massive Indian Festival at the Palace of Culture in Warsaw!
Besides delicious regional Indian food, there will also be cooking shows, Indian games, a market with Indian food products, furniture, clothes & jewelry and much more!
Where: Palace of Culture, Sala Ratuszowa
Watch falling stars at Copernicus Sky Planetarium
On the night of the 12th of August, the Perseids meteor shower will be at its peak.
Although Bieszczady and Mazury are by far the best places in Poland to spot “fallings stars”, the Copernicus museum – in cooperation with the “Zarząd Dróg Miejskich” – is doing whatever is in its power to improve our viewing experience.
On this night, they’ll switch off the illumination of the Copernicus Museum and its surroundings, some bridges (Świętokrzyski, Śląsko-Dąbrowski and Poniatowski), and the National Stadium.
The Copernicus Sky Planetarium will probably be your best spot in the center of Warsaw. If you want a much better experience, however, pack and leave the city. You could, for example, go to Top-Kajak (60 km from Warsaw). The sky there is much clearer than in the city.
Where: Wybrzeże Kościuszkowskie 20, Warsaw
When: 12 Aug from 21:00 to 24:00
Kocham Gluten (I love Gluten)

Your kids will be delighted. Thank me later 😀
