How will the Vistula’s Boulevard look like in 2020? See the Pictures.

The Vistula’s riverside will change drastically in 2020. The design of the third section of the boulevard has been announced a few days ago. The winner of the competition is a polish company: WXCA studio.

The new section of the boulevard will be elegant and with lots of greenery. Just look at the pictures and you will understand why this project was the winning one.

It certainly looks fantastic, but should we really be happy? Well, I’m not so sure.

The problem

The problem is that the boulevard will be built between the Świętokrzyski Bridge and Cypel Czerniakowski. In other words, it will be built where most of the coolest beach bars on the Vistula are (like Pomost 511, Cud Nad Wisła etc).

Will this project ruin the authentic vibe of the river?

I don’t know, but I certainly hope it won’t.
