Majowka is the unofficial beginning of the warm season in Poland, which means it’s time to fire up the grill.

Although it is not legal to fire up everywhere, there are plenty of spots in Warsaw’s parks and beaches where you can get the grill going. We’ve done the legwork for you and compiled this map of places where you can grill across Warsaw.

If we missed something, let us know ([email protected]).

Pole Mokotowskie

Pole Mokotowskie is one of the largest parks in Warsaw. The Park was, until 1934, the site of Warsaw Airport and, until 1939, of the Warsaw Horse Racing Track.

Park Praski

Park Praski is located in the Praga district, on the right side of the Vistula. It’s famous for hosting three bears (currently Tatra, Mała and Sabina) that leave on a concrete island at the edge of the park.

Park Skaryszewski

The Skaryszewski Park is a monumental park located Praga-Południe.

Park Górczewska

Park Górczewska is located in Bemowo.

Park Bródnowski

The new Bródnowski Park is going to be renovated in the next two years (it will cost 9.5 million zloty). There will be grill and picnic areas in summer, ice-skating in winter.

Kępa Potocka in Żoliborz

This “canal” is actually an oxbow lake formed by the Vistula.

Las Kabacki

Las Kabacki is a woodland park located in southern Warsaw, in the Ursynów district.

The Kabaty Wood is a reservoir of fresh air for the surrounding housing developments, as well as a popular place of rest and a perfect place to BBQ..
