Open Air Swimming Pools in Warsaw

We still have (just) a full month of warm weather in Warsaw (sigh).

If you are stuck in Warsaw for the rest of the summer, these four outdoor swimming pools – that will be open until the end of August – offer a quick and easy escape from the summer heat.

Given the fact that there are not so many of these swimming pools in Warsaw, we’d suggest you avoid high peak times (Sundays) and go in the afternoon during the week (or on Saturdays).

Outdoor Swimming Pool at Szczęśliwice Park

A swimming pool in the middle of the Szczęśliwice Park. The complex has indoor & outdoor pools, water slides, gym, sauna, table tennis and squash.

This swimming pool is apparently not so busy on Saturdays.

Outdoor Swimming Pool at Park Kultury w Powsinie

Two swimming pools surrounded by a vast green area to sunbathe. The larger pool for adults measures 25m x 12.5m (with a depth from 1.0m to 1.9m), while the smaller pool (for children) measures 16.5m x 8.7m.

The pool has full sanitary facilities with showers and toilets as well as changing rooms.

Beside the open air swimming pool, you’ll also find a football field, concerts, barbecues, and bonfires.

Outdoor Swimming Pool at Wał Miedzeszyński 407

This complex is located in Saska Kępa. You’ll find two Olympic swimming pools, slides, sunbathing areas, a playground for children, food stands, and free parking.

Outdoor Swimming Pool “Moczydło” (closed for renovation)

The Moczydło resort is undergoing a 26 M złoty renovation and it will be closed this year.

According to the plans, the resort will be ready in October (awesome timing, isn’t it?) with numerous attractions for children, a beach, two volleyball courts and football field.

Looking forward to seeing the results of the renovation next year.
